FIXED GEAR EVENT – BERLIN – 08/03/13 TO 10/03/13

From March 8th till March 10th Fixed Days will offer a very diverse program for different fixed gear sports.
Starting off in 2010 the event was linked to Eurobike. Since then the event has grown a bit every year. To be able to keep on growing we’ve moved to the big city, Berlin, and another partenered up with another bike fair, BERLINER FAHRRAD SCHAU. Another change for this year is that most competitions will take place indoors, inside the bike fair location.
New in this years program are the Criterium, Minidrome, Cityride, Bikepolo , Afterparty and Sunday Brunch for all riders. But there will also be a Sprint, FGFS jam (indoor and outdoor), Alleycat and a Goldsprint competition.
Expect some exhilarating finals, spectacular sprinting, gushing armpits, great sightseeing and a good atmosphere while hanging out in the city of Berlin.

III Open Bike Polo Madrid

"El próximo 23 y 24 de Marzo se celebra la 3ª edición del Open Bike Polo de Madrid - una prueba que ha conseguido hacerse un hueco propio en el calendario 'polista' como arranque de temporada en la que los diferentes equipos toman contacto y miden sus fuerzas de cara a otras competiciones nacionales y europeas. Ediciones pasadas han tenido una importante presencia de equipos de todas partes de la peninsula y también de algunos equipos europeos. Esperamos que este año se inscriban un mayor número de equipos y que podamos disfrutar del gran nivel de juego de ediciones pasadas. Un, dos, tres.... ¡Polo!"

Specially to Luis Junquera, he was at 3rd position till he fell down overtaking a lapped rider.
Even thought , he finished at 6th position.

NOCTURNE AT THE LONDON BIKE SHOW
The IG London Nocturne is staging the UK's first ever indoor criterium racing at the London Bike Show.
Between Thursday 17th and Sunday 20th January the purpose-built indoor circuit will host four unique and action-packed days of racing, throughout the 2013 London Bike Show. The 600metre circuit is a replica of the summer Nocturne course. There will be elite competition, support races, a Penny Farthing Race, a Folding Bike Race, a Track Bike Race and more!
The polo&bike team riders will be at the track race and will go for it!

The Madrid Bicycle Film Festival its here!
Between December 21 and 22 have a special date in one of the events of the year.

Brendt Barbur, Founding Festival Director, was compelled to start the Bicycle Film Festival when he was hit by a bus while riding his bike in New York City. He insisted on turning his negative experience into a positive one. In 2001 Barbur started the Bicycle Film Festival as a platform to celebrate the bicycle through music, art and, of course, film.

The Bicycle Film Festival has been a major catalyst for the urban bike movement, one of the most powerful and culturally relevant forces of the last decade. The BFF is sure to carry this momentum into the next decade.
